GW2 Human Elementalist: Yae Dustborn - colored by Rabenschrey GW2 Human Elementalist: Yae Dustborn - colored by Rabenschrey
How to waste time like a pro:

1) Draw a sketch - full body shot.
2) Color whole sketch.
3) Spent several hours sketching different backgrounds, deleting everything over and over again.
4) Choose simple background.
5) Crop image to half.
6) Be a little bit pissed.

Oh wow.

Sketch and full character.

I'm already very excited for Guild Wars 2. As there's no healer, I'm forced to play something else and may roll an Elementalist - a mage - for the first time as my main.
Needless to say I plan to play her full support.
Needless to say I might try to play some RP.

is that a floodlight in the background? :P

try soften the shadow a tad bit.
remember 3D when applying shadow in the rocks behind her.
some shadows from the water would be nice as well :P
do something about that fat pinkietoe, and soften the shadow under the foot.

and finally, at last.
try to make us drawn in toward the eyes.
i dunno how to do that, normally i would suggest increasing the saturation in the eyes, but it seems like you are making your character blind... so yeah.. a tattoo?

no healers indeed, but try guardian (something in the lines of [link] would be my suggestion) or water elementalist (note that here you'll have more variability but weaker healing since it's harder to dedicate your utilities to healing), engineer would also be a nice option if you're used to be a more buffer kind of healer than direct heals one
